Prior to installation, inspect the flange's sealing face (default RF type) and mating surfaces for debris, scratches, or corrosion-clean thoroughly with a non-abrasive cloth to ensure a tight seal. Select a compatible gasket (e.g., rubber, spiral-wound metal) matching the flange's nominal diameter and pressure rating . Align the plate flange with the pipeline or equipment interface, ensuring bolt holes are perfectly aligned to avoid forced assembly that may damage the sealing face.

Place the gasket evenly between the two flanges without over-tightening or misalignment. Fasten the bolts sequentially in a crisscross pattern to apply uniform pressure-torque values should comply with ANSI/GB/EN standards based on bolt material and size. After installation, conduct a pressure test to check for leaks; if leakage occurs, retighten the bolts gradually or replace the gasket. For long-term use, inspect the flange and gasket periodically, especially in chemical or high-temperature environments, to maintain system integrity.
